The Final Weeks
It's getting close to Finals week. The time when everything is crazy-busy and everyone is running around like their head is cut off, and needless to say, I'm excited. I am actually looking forward to having things pick up, and get into the rush of everything.
Finals week. Studying is the primary focus of the week, obviously. But having another excuse to stay up all hours of the night reading books is always a good thing in my opinion.
I'm finally feeling like it's Christmas time! Which is great, because I thought I would have felt like that a while ago. But it's freezing outside! And it's awesome that there are Christmas decorations up in the Great Hall, and the Library...pretty much all over campus. It's also great that I can break out the winter clothes, it's also disappointing that the clothes that fit me last year...are waaay too small for me to wear this year, which is unfortunate because now I need to buy more. That's just what I need. To spend more money. Fantastic. But I brought out the Christmas scarf [insert some sort of joke or pun referring to how similar Scharf and scarf are, I've heard a bucket-load of them so far] so it's officially the holiday season. Also! It's supposed to SNOW on Saturday! I'll be excited, but won't want to leave my room, and might not the whole day. But I've got a legitimate excuse to stay inside. A massive paper...well not too massive, only about 6 or 7 more pages on things I have no idea what to write about. Christmas Music is great too. It's everywhere, or nearly everywhere. I think it's the best instrumental music, or close to it. I heartily enjoy it, but only after December 1st of course =]
Christmas Break is also coming up I'm looking forward to it, but at the same time I'm dreading it because it means the end of the school year, and I am going to have to say goodbye to all the awesome people here for 3 weeks. And that is the reason I am dreading the break. Not to say that i'm dreading time with my family during that time, on the contrary, it will be so good to spend more time with them! i miss them so much. But our house doesn't have really good water pressure...whhich is sort of a bummer. And hopefully we will have Wi-Fi then, so we won't have to go other places to get in contact with everyone else. And I'll be looking for a job and hopefully make some money too, which is much needed. I am, after all, a poor broke college student.
Well, it is getting late, and I need to retire. Last night was a blast, staying up until 2:00am at the Yellow Deli doing homework...bed around 2:30. An overall good night, but a little late for a school night. Even though it did pay off and I did hopefully awesome on both tests I took today. Oh well. Time will tell. Goodnight all.
