beginning of the school year excitement

ahh the school year is to begin again soon, tuesday as a matter of fact. the fact that it is only saturday gives me great excitement for what is ahead of me. being on the campus when there are very few people is vastly different from, say, the middle of the school-year. it's almost like a different place. this semester is a very thrilling ride to be taken, lots of changes this year. the brother is attending here, and that will be interesting how that goes. i'm so excited for him to experience covenant the way that i did, even if the way is a little different...well quite a bit different actually. but i'm excited about my classes, and how they will go. hopefully i will do even better this semester than i did last semester-not that i did poorly by any means. also i can't wait to see all the people i've missed on the break. not to mention that it will be good to get back into the rhythm of things once again. but now to get down to the thing i started to write about in the first place! break. break was so great, full of rest and spending time catching up with my much loved family - yes that is including my favorite pet of all time- isaiah. it was so good to catch up with my family and just be able to relax for longer than the weekend. i had forgotten how much i had missed my family. the corny jokes we tell, the laughter, it's all part of our family identity and i'm so thankful for having that. i wouldn't trade my family for the world and wouldn't have them any other way. sure they have their quirks, but that is what makes us a family and helps us mesh together so stinking well. i can't wait until parents weekend when they will [hopefully!] come over and see me...and i guess they could see christopher too. =]
