on recycling, and love, and such.
things are busy. it is so nice to have a night that i simply am not constricted by homework. or at least, i am taking a break for a little bit and going to do my homework later on tonight. i needed an evening like this one. relaxing, and not too much going on. talking to that kelly thomas. talking to her always make everything better. hmm. i'm very much ok with that. she's pretty much amazing. i can honestly say i have never been happier, in spite of the long distance. she is more than worth the years of pursuit.
anywho. i watched 'No Impact Man' tonight. i highly recommend it. i am very much for some of the ideas he presents, even though i would not go to such an extent as he does. i suppose i'm just in a very recycling mood as of late. and by 'as of late' i mean the past few years because i realize how wasteful we are as a nation, and i want to be free from that. we are instructed to take care of the planet. i'm not one of those hippies that's going to go out and chain myself to a tree, or protest paper-towels or anything like that. I just think it's a good idea to conserve and not waste as much. for example: electricity. please don't leave your computer charger plugged in when you are not charging your computer. and only charge your computer when it needs it! first of all, it kills your computer battery. and when your computer charger is plugged in and not charging your computer it's just wasting electricity. come on people. this is not hard. you can do this.
sorry. i will get off my soapbox and stop preaching now.
reduce. reuse. recycle.
that is all.
well, that's not all. but it's a good tag-line.
it's so close to the weekend. i sure can use it. sleep is so overrated. that's what i say during the weekdays. weekends it's a totally different story. sleep is a precious commodity. one i under-use constantly. shame, shame, shame.
speaking of which i must get to bed. until next time my friends.
