Gosh, everyone is getting engaged....AND i made lasagna

Sheesh. Everyone and their brother is getting engaged. it's kind of sickening. well i wouldn't exactly say sickening, it makes me feel all warm inside and happy. I'm so happy that they have found their soul mates. Congratulations. You have my sincere and heartfelt good wishes.

But this is from the rest of us.

What the heck? Come on. Is it something in the water? has the government put some sort of 'engagement serum' in the water? Sheesh. I mean, I'm all for finding the one you want to spend the rest of your life with, but honestly. space the engagements out. It's getting kind of ridiculous. You should seriously keep the engagements down to a minimum this time of year. Seriously.

I made lasagna today. it was so good to be back in the kitchen. i never really thought of how relaxing and non-stressful it is being in the kitchen, and just making simple food. Not to mention that it is extremely good to get my mind off of things.
